On the 6th of June, SEED and its connected organisations MaYA and Merill took part in the World Environment Day organised by Heritage Malta and held at Għar Dalam in Birżebbuġa. Set against the unique backdrop of one of the island's most significant natural heritage sites, the event brought together a wide range of NGOs, social enterprises, and organisations dedicated to protecting the country's natural landscapes and promoting sustainable living.
Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to explore stands showcasing initiatives focused on environmental conservation, biodiversity, education, and community engagement. Representing SEED, Federica and Kaya welcomed visitors to our stand, where they presented the current project on National Rural Tourism Guidelines.

The above image can reflect a strong sense of collaboration and shared commitment, here for example bringing together people in the aim to support Albania. It was encouraging to see so many organisations working towards a shared vision of a more sustainable future for Malta - leading to inspiring conversations.
Events like these remind us that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility, and one best achieved through collaboration, awareness, and community action!
